2020 marked the 100 year anniversary of women's right to vote! This design is dedicated to the suffrage movement, particularly to the three women who met at a tea party one day and decided it was time to be heard. They wrote the Declaration of Sentiments, basing it on the Constitution and its eloquence, adding the word "women" to the opening statement. Elizabeth Cady Stanton, the middle figure holding the quill, is the one who penned the words, with the encouragement, input, and support of her friends Lucretia Mott and Mary Ann McClintock. Many other important people helped with this fierce movement, but I've chosen to focus on these three, as they were the original champions who ignited the cause.
